Insulating Mat for Electrical Purpose (IS : 15652/2006)

Application :

Human safety is a very primary concern and requirement of the mats which are developed for electrical purposes/safety and are to be used as floor covering/mats for the protection and to create a “barrier” for the protection of human beings on AC & DC installation with protection of up to a system voltage of 33KV ac & 240V dc.

Construction :

Insulating mat are generally made from only the most Highly Electrical resistant Elastic rubber, free from any insertions (such as rubbers, latex and Elastomeric compound that may be natural or synthetic or a mixture or often a mixture of both). The Upper surface of the mat has small anti-skid aberration marks (rough surface area without edge) to avoid slippage and lower surface is plane.
